Our Black CBD Oil (previously named herlab 1000, 2000 or herbal 3000), the strongest oil in our range, is made with organically grown Dutch cannabis mixed in a base of hempseed oil. It offers the full spectrum of CBD benefits.
Black CBD Oil is an unflavoured, natural oil with a rich and sweet vegetable taste. It is quickly absorbed and is designed to be taken under the tongue.
A high strength product, our Black CBD Oil delivers 5.0mg of CBD per drop. This Full Spectrum CBD oil is strong and best suited to those who have used CBD for a while.
What strength CBD oil should I take?
The concentration you choose will depend on what benefit you’re hoping to get from the product. We would always recommend starting on the lowest dose possible and then working up to higher strength products depending on the benefits you want to feel.
We have low, medium and high strength CBD oils available that are suitable for those starting on their CBD journey and those who have taken it for some time.
What is Full Spectrum CBD?
Our Black CBD Oil is made with Full Spectrum CBD, which means you’ll benefit from therapeutic effects from all the essential oils, terpenes, and cannabinoids contained within the cannabis plant. This oil is also high in both CBD and CBDa, which is believed to be more beneficial than pure CBD.
The ‘entourage effect’ will sometime be discussed when talking about Full and Broad Spectrum CBD products. This is something that happens when different cannabinoids in a CBD oil work together in synergy. It is believed that these kinds of oils can produce a more beneficial effect because the various cannabinoids work together, creating a result that is greater than any of the active ingredients are capable of creating on their own.
What else does Full Spectrum CBD oil contain?
Full Spectrum CBD contains much more of the natural compounds of the cannabis plant. You can expect to find:
The cannabis plant contains over 100 cannabinoids, these include CBD, CBDa, CBG and THC, and these compounds give cannabis both its therapeutic and psychoactive (in the case of THC) effects. By not over-processing the cannabis oil, more of these natural compounds are retained in the resulting CBD oil.
CBD terpenes are natural compounds found in the flowers and buds of cannabis flowers. There are over 150 of these in the hemp plant and generally affect the plant’s fragrance. For example, Limonene gives citrus plants their fresh fragrance, and Linalool is found in lavender.
These are present in all kinds of fruits and vegetables, where they are believed to protect against inflammation and to be great antioxidants. The cannabis plant has around 20 different flavonoids.
What is CO2 extracted CBD oil?
A process that uses pressurised carbon dioxide to pull the cannabinoids, terpenes, and essential oils out of the cannabis plant, CO2 extraction creates a pure, clean oil.
Typically the oil extracted this way doesn’t need as much post-processing, and no toxic solvents are used in the process either.

"Start low and slowly grow" is the key to starting your CBD journey. This will allow you to slowly build up your endocannabinoid system and fully realise your sweet spot. Your endocannabinoid system works on a bell curve and if you take too much at once then you can go over the curve and overload which could result in having the opposite effect of what you're hoping to achieve.
This is a rough guide only as each of us is different and unique. A slow approach may be more beneficial to you and increase fortnightly instead. The time frames below are examples, but a good guide to how dosing is recommended.
||1 drop three times a day|
|Week 2||2 drops three times a day|
|Week 3||3 drops three times a day|
|Week 4||4 drops three times a day|
5 drops three times a day
Once you have found a suitable level, you should maintain and not increase your intake levels.

Can I take CBD with my other medication?
When it comes to using a CBD product with medication, we always advise one thing, check with a medical professional.
Always stick to the recommended dose, and if you are taking other medications, keep a two-hour window between them.
Which CBD strength should I buy?
Everyone is unique, and as such, the answer is that it depends on you. Optimal dosages and strengths vary from person to person based on many factors, including body weight, height, and tolerance.
If you're new to CBD, we recommend that you start with a lower strength product and build up using our helpful information and recommended dosage build-ups.
If you're not feeling the desired benefit after building up, you should move up to the next strength product.
It is important to remember that when you first start taking CBD, it is about finding the right balance and enabling your body to get used to taking CBD. Therefore it may take a little time to find the right strength and dosage for you.
How should I store the oil?
Please keep the oil in a cool dark place when not in use. A cupboard or shelf should be fine.
