Frequently asked questions

People use CBD vape liquids for a wide variety of reasons. It can produce different effects for different people as each person has a unique response to CBD entering the system. Here’s what our customers have to say about how CBD vape liquids make them feel:

“I use vape oil before I go to bed. It helps me sleep better. If I wake up early hours I just have a couple of puffs and I'm straight back over until the morning. Highly recommend.”

“First time vaping CBD and super product. Really getting that benefit, completely stopped taking painkillers i think i will switch from taking the oil drops and move to vape, apart from a drop before bedtime. Usual speedy service from SimplyCBD, great to have that support.”

“I've vape for a long time, but I had never tried vaping CBD before. This one has been a godsend for me! Gives me a boost in between the Pure CBD and it has a nice taste.”

“As always the CBD drops and Vape liquid are fantastic for pain relief. After tryring many things over the years. Recently tried the patches & they were amazing! I can't recommend these CBD products enough.”

As part of our recent customer survey, we asked our customers why they use CBD products.
According to the results, the most common reason for using CBD products is for a pain-related issue. This is then followed by mental health issues, general wellbeing support, and condition-related issues, respectively.

Here’s a breakdown of the results:

4 in 5 use CBD for pain issues
1 in 3 use CBD for mental health issues
1 in 4 use CBD for general wellbeing support
1 in 6 use CBD for condition-related issues, such as M.S. or Menopause

The rate of people using CBD for pain saw an increase of seven percentage points from our previous customer survey. We also saw the number of people using CBD for general wellness rise from 1 in 5 to 1 in 4. There is some crossover between categories, meaning that some people use CBD products for more than one of the reasons listed, which is reflected in the results.

CBD vape juice is a type of e-liquid that contains cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is one of around 112 naturally occuring cannabinoids present in plants from the cannabis family, such as hemp. The CBD extract in our CBD vape liquids is completelty natural and comes from high quality industrial hemp plants. CBD vape liquids offer an alternative way to ingest CBD. Our liquids also contain CBG, which is short for cannabigerol. This compound is known as ‘the mother of all cannabinoids’ or the ‘stem cell’ of the hemp plant.

At Simply CBD, we offer numerous flavours of vape liquids to suit different tastes and preferences. These include minty menthol, tutti frutti, and cherry licious. Once you’ve chosen a flavour that works for you, our CBD vape liquids can be added to any regular vaporiser meant for e-liquids. You can then inhale and use the vape in the same way you would with traditional vape liquids. The main difference is that you’ll ingest CBD and it will travel directy from your lungs into your bloodstream. Once its in your bloodstream, its able to interact with your endocannabinoid system.

The endocannabinoid system is a very complex and important cell signalling system in the body. It helps the body maintain homeostasis by playing a role in the regulation of various functions, such as sleep and mood. When homeostasis is interrupted, endocannabinoids bind to receptors to initiate a response. Cannabinoids, which come from the hemp plant, are similar to endocannabinoids, which are made by the body. This is why cannabinoids are able to interact with this system. CBD in particular is thought to prevent the breakdown of endocannabinoids. This is believed to allow endocannabinoids to be more effective.

One of the benefits of using CBD vape liquids is that they don’t interfere with other medications or supplements. They can also be used in conjunction with other CBD products. For example, some users wear patches for 36 hours and top up their levels with vape liquids thouhgout the day.

CBD vape liquids offer an alternative way to ingest CBD. They are inhaled in the same way as other types of vape liquids. This is done using a vaporiser deigned for e-liquid use. As vape liquids are inhaled, the CBD content is able to absorb into your bloodstream directly via your lungs. It can then go on to interact with the endocannabinoid system, which is an important cell signally system in the body.

The endocannabinoid system is made up of three key components. These include endocannabinoids, receptors, and enzymes. The system is in place to maintain a state of homeostasis in the body, which means that everything is working as it should be with no interruptions. This pertains to functions such as sleep, fertility, and digestion. When something disrupts homeostasis, endocannabinoids are produced and bind to receptors in various parts of the body to initiate an appropriate response. Enzymes then break down endocannabinoids when their purpose has been served.

The CBD that you inhale with CBD vape liquids is thought to prevent enzymes from breaking down endocannabinoids. This is believed to allow them to have more of a long lasting effect. Some researchers also believe that CBD may bind to a type of receptor that has yet to be discovered. This is because this system was only discovered around 30 years ago, so research into how it works and how cannabinoids interact with it is still ongoing.

Many people like using CBD vape liquids due to their enjoyable taste. For example, our vape liquids are available in three delicious flavours including cherry licious, minty menthol, and tutti frutti. They are also fairly versatile and adaptable, as they can be used in conjunction with other types of CBD products. They can also be used without any interactions with other medications and supplements, while other products require a two to four hour gap between doses.

Vaping CBD is a very simple process. In fact, it is very similar to vaping any other type of e-liquid. The first step is to identify the best flavour for you. At Simply CBD, we offer three different options so that everyone can find one that they enjoy. First we have minty menthol, which is great for those who like a refreshing vaping experience. Next is tutti frutti, which is a play on the classic sweets by the same name. We also offer another fruit inspired flavour called cherry licious, which is as tasty as it sounds!

Once you’ve chosen the right liquid for you, the next step is adding it to your vaporiser. You can use any vaporiser that’s designed for use with e-liquids. While these vapes are typically made for nicotine liquids, you can safely use CBD liquids in them instead. Make sure your coil is fully saturated with the liquid before turning it on to avoid the taste of burnt liquid. You can then turn on your device so it’s ready to use.

Depending on the type of vaping device you use, you may need to hold down a button as you inhale the vape liquid. Other devices simply require you to inhale with no button. You can choose to take a lot of inhalations all at once, or spread them out throughout the day as needed. You can also feel free to use CBD vape liquids in combination with other types of CBD products. For example, you may take sublingual drops and use the vape liquid to top up your dose as needed. One thing to keep in mind is that the UK’s safety guidelines stipulate that users should take no more than 70mg of CBD per day. Therefore, the amount of vape liquid you inhale, as well as any other CBD products you use, must be accounted for.

CBD vape liquids are an easy product to use and the way they work is very simple. Once inhaled, the available CBD absorbs directly into the bloodstream. This is different from many other types of CBD products. For example, edibles and tablets must go through the digestive tract before they can be absorbed into the bloodstream. Other products, such as balms and salves, never actually enter the bloodstream and instead remain within the skin’s pores. What all of these products do have in common is their end goal, which is to interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system. This system is the reason that cannabinoids from the cannabis plant family are able to interact with and have an impact on the body.

The endocannabinoid system regulates various essential functions in the body to help it maintain homeostasis. It’s able to do this thanks to its three main components which are receptors, endocannabinoids, and enzymes. Receptors are found in abundance throughout the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system.

When homeostasis is disturbed, the body produces molecules known as endocannabinoids. These molecules then bind to receptors to indicate that a response is necessary. Once this has taken place, enzymes break down endocannabinoids. Due to the similarities between endocannabinoidsa and cannabinoids, the latter is able to interact with this system.

When the CBD from your CBD vape liquid passes through the lungs into the bloodstream, it is thought to stop enzymes from breaking down endocannabinoids so that they can have more of an effect. Some researchers also believe that CBD may interact with and even bind to a new type of receptor that hasn’t been discovered yet. As this system was only discovered in the early 1990s, there’s still plenty of research to be done to fully understand how it works and what role cannabinoids play when they enter the system. Further discovery in this area may help improve the already impressive effectiveness of CBD products.

Each CBD user has their own preferences in terms of how they use CBD products. Some users prefer to stick to a singular product. Others find that their results are better when they use multiple products. For example, you may already use a different type of CBD product, such as patches. If this is the case and you’re looking for a way to top up your dose, CBD e-liquids are a perfect option. This is because they’re low strength and you can tailor the amount you take by inhaling more or less when needed.

One key factor to consider when mixing CBD products, including CBD e-liquids, is your ideal dose. For example, you may have found that your ideal dose is around 35mg. If you wear a 30mg CBD patch, most of your ideal dose is already spoken for. This means you may want to be slightly more conservative about how much you vape throughout the day. However, as our vape liquids are low strength, it’s fairly easy to stay within your ideal range. It’s also worth considering the UK safety guidelines surrounding CBD consumption. These guidelines state that you should take no more than 70mg of CBD per day. If you’re already taking close to 70mg in a day without the addition of CBD e-liquids, this is another time to be careful about how much you use.

One of the most common misconceptions about CBD products is that they will cause a high. This stems from their relationship with the cannabis plant family. However, this is completely untrue. The reason CBD doesn’t cause a high comes down to its origin. All legal CBD in the UK comes from licensed industrial hemp. Hemp is one of the most well-known plants from the cannabis plant family. The other well-known plant from this family is marijuana, which remains illegal in the UK.

Hemp plants have a naturally high concentration of CBD and little to no THC content. Conversely, marijuana is very high in THC content and is naturally low in CBD. As THC is the compound that causes a ‘high’ sensation, it’s commonly used as a recreational drug. Hemp, on the other hand, contains very little of this cannabinoid and therefore does not cause intoxication.

CBD that is legal in the UK can contain no more than 0.2% THC content, which is nowhere near enough to cause a ‘high’ sensation. The reason THC isn’t completely excluded from all CBD products is due to the entourage effect. However, in broad spectrum products, such as our CBD vape oils, no THC is present. For extra peace of mind, please take a look at our lab reports which show the cannabinoid makeup of our products.

CBG is short for cannabigerol. It’s one of over 100 cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. In fact, CBG is actually known as ‘the mother of all cannabinoids’ and the ‘stem cell’ of the hemp plant. This is because CBGA, the acidic form of CBG, is the precursor cannabinoid that many others form from, including CBD and THC. CBG is typically found in hemp plants that are harvested young. The longer the plant grows, the more CBG is transformed into other cannabinoids.

The reason we include this compound in our CBD vape oils is because it can provide enhanced benefits. CBD is very effective on its own, and CBG only adds to that. It has its own range of unique benefits, some of which CBD may not provide. For example, CBD is thought to prevent enzymes from breaking down endocannabinoids. This is believed to allow endocannabinoids to be more effective at responding to issues that disturb the body’s state of homeostasis. In contrast, CBG binds to receptors in the central and peripheral nervous systems. This is also what endocannabinoids do when they need to initiate a response to a problem in the body. CBG does not cause any intoxicating effects despite its ability to bind to endocannabinoid receptors. This leads some people to believe that it has enhanced efficacy potential.

The addition of CBG makes our e-liquids broad spectrum. This means that it's possible that you’ll feel the entourage effect. This phenomenon is more commonly associated with full spectrum products because they contain all of the cannabinoids and compounds from the hemp plant. However, it’s still possible to feel a slightly less potent version of the entourage effect when using broad spectrum products.

Broad spectrum CBD falls somewhere between full spectrum CBD and CBD isolate. It contains a range of cannabinoids and plant compounds from hemp, but not all of them. Most notably, all broad spectrum CBD products are completely free from THC. However, as they contain various cannabinoids and compounds in addition to CBD, broad spectrum CBD products can produce a less potent variation of the entourage effect.

Broad spectrum CBD products are popular with users who want similar benefits to full spectrum products without any THC. THC is not a bad compound to consume, especially in the trace amounts found in full spectrum CBD products. It contributes to the entourage effect and will never cause a ‘high’ in trace quantities. However, some users prefer to only use products that don’t contain any THC. This is comparable to how those who follow a plant-based diet prefer to steer clear of animal-derived ingredients.

All variations of our vape liquids are broad spectrum. They contain both CBD and CBG, but absolutely no THC. This product is low strength and comes in three flavours including Minty Menthol, Cherry Licious, and Tutti Frutti. While some CBD users opt for this product alone, it’s commonly used as a top-up dose for other CBD products like oils or gummies.

If you’re brand new to using CBD products, we recommend starting with a one-time purchase of the product(s) you’d like to try. Once you’ve worked out what you want to continue using on a regular basis, it makes sense to set up a subscription. We offer multiple options so you can have your favourite products arrive at the perfect time. You can choose to receive them every one, two, or three months, depending on how quickly you’re likely to run out. After you’ve set up your subscription, you never need to lift a finger to receive your CBD products.

In addition to the convenience of subscriptions, they also save you money on each purchase. If you choose to subscribe to a single product, such as our CBD/CBG E-Liquid, you’ll save 10% on each order after your initial purchase. If you choose to subscribe to one of our bundles, you’ll save 15% on all orders after your initial purchase. When you’re using products regularly, it makes sense to save time and money with a subscription. You can even choose the date you want to receive them to suit your routine. For example, some users like to schedule their subscriptions for shortly after their payday.

When you purchase a CBD product, it’s useful to understand how long you can expect them to last. Our CBD vape products all last for around 12 months after purchase. However, it’s important that you check the expiration date on the packaging when your products arrive. This way, you’ll know exactly how long you can expect your product of choice to last. As our vape liquids last for a long period of time, it’s likely that you’ll run out far before they reach their expiration dates. This is especially true if you use these products regularly, which is what we recommend for the best results.

In terms of storage, we recommend storing your CBD vape oils in a cool, dry place. One of the most important factors is ensuring that they’re kept away from extreme temperatures. For example, leaving them in direct sunlight may impact their quality and longevity. We also advise that you refrain from freezing your vape liquids. Keeping them at room temperature is ideal. For example, many users store their CBD vape oils on a shady shelf or in a cupboard. Following the proper storage conditions can ensure that your products reach their expiration dates without diminishing in quality. This helps you get your money’s worth out of our CBD products.

If you already use nicotine vape liquids, you may be wondering whether it’s okay to mix them with CBD vape products. At Simply CBD, we strongly advise against mixing our CBD e-liquid products with nicotine vape products. This is because both products are designed to be used on their own, so mixing them could result in adverse effects. Additionally, neither the nicotine nor the CBD will be able to be as effective when mixed.

Nicotine and CBD produce very different effects, so mixing the two types of e-liquids is not ideal. If you combine both of these substances, you will likely struggle to reap any substantial benefits from the CBD and CBG content of the product. Using the products as intended is the best way to get the results you’re looking for.

This doesn’t mean that if you ingest nicotine, you can’t ingest CBD at all or vice versa. We simply advise against mixing the liquids themselves as the potential side effects are not fully understood. You’re not required to purchase a new vape device to use our vape products. However, investing in a dedicated CBD oil vape can help ensure that you don’t accidentally mix nicotine and CBD e-liquids.

CBD vape liquids are a unique type of CBD product in many ways. One of which is the fact that they require you to own a vape device. If you already own a vapouriser that’s compatible with standard e-liquids, you can use this for CBD vape oils. However, if you were using it for nicotine oils previously, we recommend cleaning it thoroughly before using it to vape CBD. This is because we advise against mixing our CBD vape e-liquids with nicotine vape products. If you plan to continue using your current vape for nicotine vape liquids, it could be a good idea to use a separate device for our CBD vape oils. This way you can have a dedicated nicotine vape and CBD oil vape.

If you’re brand new to vaping, you will need to purchase a vape device to use our e-liquids. Most vape devices will be compatible with our liquids. If you’re feeling unsure, let the sales assistant at the vape shop know that our liquids are 50% VG 50% PG. This info can help them narrow down the options they have available that are most suitable for our CBD e-liquids. They can also show you the best ways to use your specific CBD oil vape, including how to soak the coil, charge the device, and more. You won’t need anything particularly fancy to enjoy our vape oils, so there’s no need to break the bank on your new CBD oil vape.

If you’re brand new to using CBD products, you may be wondering if CBD e-liquids are a suitable option for you. As our CBD vape oils are low strength, they are perfectly suitable for beginners. As with any type of CBD product, it’s still important to avoid overloading your system. This means that you should start with a low dose at first to give your body time to react and respond to the cannabinoid content. You can then slowly build this up as necessary by increasing the amount of vape oil you use throughout the day.

While some users solely use CBD e-liquids, many prefer to combine vaping with other forms of CBD. However, if you’re brand new to using CBD, we recommend starting with one product at a time. As with the lower dose rule, starting with one product gives your body’s endocannabinoid system a chance to gradually get used to CBD. If you find that vaping alone isn’t enough after building up your dose, you can begin to add other products to the mix. For example, you may want to wear a patch and use vape liquids to top up your dose. Similarly, if you’ve built up using a different type of product and want to add a top-up dose, vaping CBD is a great option.

When using CBD products, you may have noticed that we advise leaving a gap between your CBD dose and any medications or supplements you’re taking. However, this isn’t necessary for all types of CBD products. The medication gap rule largely applies to orally ingestible CBD products, such as oils, tablets, and gummies.

The use of CBD vape liquids does not require you to follow the standard CBD medication rules. This is because of how they interact with the body. CBD vape oils are inhaled and enter the bloodstream directly via the lungs. This means they never enter the digestive tract. Therefore, they won’t interact with any medications or supplements you’re taking orally. So, if you’ve recently taken your medications or supplements and need a top-up of CBD, you can use vape liquids without worrying.

In contrast, products like gummies and capsules which are taken orally do enter the digestive system. They are partially metabolised by the liver before entering your bloodstream. Medications and supplements follow the same process. Therefore, if you take both at the same time, they are likely to interact. While the research on this topic is still limited, evidence suggests that oral CBD may impact the effectiveness of some medications and supplements.
