As part of our recent customer survey, we asked our customers why they use CBD products.
According to the results, the most common reason for using CBD products is for a pain-related issue. This is then followed by mental health issues, general wellbeing support, and condition-related issues, respectively.

The rate of people using CBD for pain saw an increase of seven percentage points from our previous customer survey. We also saw the number of people using CBD for general wellness rise from 1 in 5 to 1 in 4. There is some crossover between categories, meaning that some people use CBD products for more than one of the reasons listed, which is reflected in the results.

Broad spectrum CBD falls somewhere between full spectrum CBD and CBD isolate. It contains a range of cannabinoids and plant compounds from hemp, but not all of them. Most notably, all broad spectrum CBD products are completely free from THC. However, as they contain various cannabinoids and compounds in addition to CBD, broad spectrum CBD products can produce a less potent variation of the entourage effect.

Broad spectrum CBD products are popular with users who want similar benefits to full spectrum products without any THC. THC is not a bad compound to consume, especially in the trace amounts found in full spectrum CBD products. It contributes to the entourage effect and will never cause a ‘high’ in trace quantities.
