Answering Your FAQs (Part 2)

Answering Your FAQs (Part 2)

Online shopping can be difficult, and is made even tougher when the website you’re shopping from doesn’t offer answers to your questions. Here at Simply CBD, we do our best to ensure you can access all the information you need, whether it be about our products, website, policies, or anything else, so you can make informed buying decisions.

For example, we have an FAQ page, as well as lots of answers to general FAQs on the homepage of our website. Additionally, we published part one of this series with comprehensive answers to eight of the most commonly asked questions we receive. Now we’re offering part two, which covers eight new questions with helpful answers to better your understanding of our brand and products.

Question 1: Do you sell THC only products?

We offer a wide range of full spectrum CBD products, including the majority of our CBD oils. This is why we have a dedicated collection of THC CBD oils for you to choose from, which include all of the cannabinoids and compounds which naturally occur in the hemp plant. However, none of our products are ‘THC only’ products, as this would break UK regulations surrounding THC, hemp, and cannabis.

In the UK, legal full spectrum CBD products can contain extremely low trace amounts of THC. These trace amounts are just enough to contribute to the entourage effect without causing a high or any other intoxicating effects associated with cannabis. CBD itself is not psychotropic, but is instead used widely to support overall wellness. At Simply CBD, we always ensure our products follow all UK laws and regulations regarding CBD, including THC content.

Question 2: How much CBD oil should I be consuming to feel the benefits?

We understand it can be frustrating and difficult to find the right dose of CBD, and this is because there’s no one-size-fits-all answer to this common question. Every person has their own unique reaction to CBD as everyone’s endocannabinoid system is different. However, the overarching golden rule for all new users to follow is to start slow and slowly grow. Once you begin to feel even minor benefits, stop increasing your dose and remain consistent with your dose and usage frequency. The benefits will increase over time when you stick to your personal CBD sweet spot.

So, it’s best to begin with a low dose product, such as our Liquid Gold CBD Oil, and take 1 drop 3 times a day. You can then build up your dose as needed in subsequent weeks by adding 1 drop per interval per week. So, for example, on week two you would take two drops three times per day. Another example is patches. We recommend starting with our lowest dose patches, regular or lavender, and only building up if needed. With gummies, you can cut them up into smaller pieces to start with a lower dose and slowly build up. Essentially, you can take this principle and apply it to any CBD product you’d like to use.

Question 3: Why should I start on a low strength CBD oil when I can start higher and reduce the drops?

CBD works by interacting with your endocannabinoid system (ECS). The reason we suggest starting low, as discussed above, is because the endocannabinoid system can become overloaded. When you first start using CBD, it takes some time for your ECS to wake up and begin responding to CBD entering your body. Overloading it with too much CBD can actually cause adverse effects rather than the benefits you’re seeking. So, even though you can reduce the drops with stronger oils, the amount of CBD in even one drop can be too much for some new users.

This is why it’s always safer to start off with a low strength product and build up the drops as needed until you find your sweet spot. If it turns out that after gradually increasing that your sweet spot is a higher dose, then that would be the time to consider selecting a higher strength oil to make it more cost effective as you will require fewer drops in each dose. However, many people have low sweet spots and can continue on with lower dose oils. The journey takes some time, but it’s worth following this method as it has proven to be the most effective.

Question 4: Can you ship products abroad?

Unfortunately, at Simply CBD, we are unable to ship our products internationally. As much as we would love to cater to a wider geographical demographic, there are many obstacles that prevent us from doing so. For example, each country has their own CBD rules, laws, and regulations, many of which are strict around importing CBD products from other countries. Other countries also have different regulations surrounding THC content, which makes shipping internationally even more difficult. There is a chance we will expand into other countries in the future as we want to help as many people as possible access affordable and high quality CBD, but as of now, we only ship within the UK.

Question 5: Will CBD make me feel high?

CBD is not psychotropic, which means it does not cause mind altering effects akin to a high or any other type of intoxication. So, while everyone has their own unique reaction to CBD, what is universally true for all users is that it will not cause a high. Even our full spectrum products, which contain trace amounts of THC up to the miniscule legal limit, will not cause any form of intoxication. This is because the trace amounts of THC in legal UK CBD products are not enough to cause any psychotropic effects. So, you can rest assured that no matter which product you choose from our wide range, it will not cause you to feel high.

Question 6: Are your products vegan friendly?

Our range of products is very vegan friendly, as we want to ensure everyone can enjoy the benefits of high quality CBD regardless of dietary or lifestyle restrictions. We have made it very easy for you to decipher whether a product is vegan or not simply by checking the icons on each product page. If you see the classic vegan icon, which is a V with a leaf, the product has been classed as vegan friendly.

If you ever feel unsure even after identifying the icon, you can reach out to us for clarification, and/or check the ingredients list in the product details. Some people following a vegan lifestyle are stricter than others, and there is some debate over what is considered vegan within the vegan community. So, to ensure nobody uses something that falls outside of what they’re comfortable with, we are as transparent as possible about the ingredients and manufacturing processes of our products.

Question 7: Are your products safe for people with nut allergies?

For people with nut allergies, the good news is that our products do not contain nuts of any kind. However, we cannot be absolutely certain that there are no nuts present during the manufacturing process of every one of our products. If you have a nut allergy and a specific product in mind to purchase, please contact us. We will be more than happy to reach out to the manufacturers to clarify whether it’s safe for you to do so. We do this on a case by case basis in case anything changes in the warehouses and factories between customer queries, as we want to give you the most up to date information we possibly can.

Question 8: Is the CBD you use in your products organic?

At Simply CBD, we pride ourselves on using the highest quality organic hemp extracts in our CBD products. This is important to us as it provides both consumer benefits and environmental benefits. Consumer benefits include the CBD being healthier, safer, higher quality, and more natural that its non-organic counterparts. In terms of environmental benefits, organic CBD improves soil quality, sustainability, and biodiversity while reducing environmental harm from harsh chemicals. We also strive to use other organic ingredients in our CBD products aside from CBD where possible to offer the healthiest, safest, highest quality, and most natural possible products.
