General Information

CBD is also known as cannabidiol, which is one of the many active ingredients found in the cannabis plant.

We've created an in depth article that explains fully what CBD is and how it is made. Click the following link to understand What is CBD.

The simple answer is yes! Any CBD oil that is produced using hemp plants is 100% legal to buy and consume, so long as that the oil derived from the hemp plant contains less than 0.2% THC.

Probably one of the most common questions asked when looking at the possibility of taking a CBD product. The simple answer is no.

When people hear that this product derives from the plant, the natural line of thinking is to assume it makes you get high.

We have an in depth article that answers the question of Will CBD get me high?

Yes, due to the nature of the extract, all full or broad spectrum cannabis (hemp) based extracts will contain trace amounts of THC.

We have a range of isolate and full spectrum products which are clearly market. You can find the amount of THC in our full spectrum products by viewing the lab reports.

There are a number of drug testing products in the market, therefore different drug tests may look for different substances and may or may not flag a positive test when using full spectrum CBD. Alternatively any isolate based CBD product will not show up on a drug test.

As the consumption of CBD is legal in the UK we would normally recommend that you speak with your employer to explain to them that you either take or are considering taking CBD products and for what purposes.

When it comes to using a CBD product with medication we always advise one thing, check with a medical professional.

Always stick to the recommended dose too and if you are taking other medications keep a two hour windows between.

Everyone is unique and as such the answer is that it depends on you. Optimal dosages and strengths vary from person to person based on a number of factors including body weight, height and tolerance.

If you're new to CBD then we always recommend that you start with a lower strength product and build up using our helpful information on recommended dosage build ups.

If after building up you're not feeling the desired benefit then you should move up to the next strength product.

It is important to remember that when you first start taking CBD it is about finding the right balance and enabling your body to get used to taking CBD, therefore it may take a little time to find the right strength and dosage for you.

Using CBD

Start low and slowly grow is the key to starting your CBD journey. This will allow you to slowly build up your endocannabinoid system and fully realise your sweet spot. Your endocannabinoid system works on a bell curve and if you take too much at once then you can go over the curve and overload which could result in having the opposite effect of what your hoping to achieve.

Each product page contains instructions on how to use that product alongside a leaflet that will be sent out with your order.

If you have any further questions our Facebook community support group is on hand to help with their experiences.

Please keep the oil in a cool dark place when not in use, a cupboard or shelf should be fine.

This is due to the oil being quite thick after mixing, if the environment is cool or it's been posted during the winter this may cause the oil to be to thick for the dropper. To fix this please just pop the oil in a cup of warm water for around 3 minutes until it softens up.

Because we suspend the extract in olive or rice bran oil if you get some oil onto the thread of the bottle it will act like a lubricant and undo the bottle. To stop this happening we recommend that, if you do get oil onto the thread, you clean it thoroughly, both on the bottle and on the lid.

CBD is generally not a controlled substance, however, due to the nature of the product some countries border forces may consider it to be cannabis oil and, as such seize you and the product. For this reason we generally advise against not travelling with CBD.
