High in both CBD and CBDa, Green CBD Oil is a Full Spectrum CBD oil mixed in a base of hemp seed oil.
Green CBD Oil (previously known as Green Herbal 250 or Herbal 750) is an unflavoured, natural oil. It has a sweet, rich vegetable taste and is suitable for taking under the tongue.
Green CBD Oil is a low strength product, delivering 1.3mg of CBD per drop.
It’s one of our most popular choices and one of the best CBD oils for beginners. It also contains the full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes for maximum benefit.
What strength CBD oil should I take?
Because CBD oils are not approved as medicines, it can be hard to find consistent advice on how much CBD you should take.
Here at Simply CBD, we have a range of CBD oils that vary in strength from low to high. They are designed for those new to CBD as well as those who may have been taking it for some time.
We recommend starting with a low dose starter product such as Green CBD Oil. This will make it much easier for you to assess how much CBD it takes to start feeling positive results. If you feel no, or only slight improvement with a low dose product, you can then move up to a medium-strength CBD oil to determine whether this works better for you.
What is Full Spectrum CBD?
Because Green CBD Oil is made with Full Spectrum CBD, you will benefit from multiple plant extracts, including essential oils, terpenes, and cannabinoids. Green CBD Oil contains high levels of both CBD and CBDa.
It is usual for Full Spectrum CBD products to contain small amounts of THC. This is the cannabinoid in the plant that produces the ‘high’ feeling. However, THC is present in such low amounts in these products (up to a maximum of 0.2%) that it is not strong enough to produce psychoactive effects.
Full Spectrum CBD contains all of the plant compounds. Thus, it may produce a more potent effect than CBD isolate, which is more processed. This is due to what has become known as the ‘entourage effect’. Essentially this is when the different cannabinoids in CBD work together to create an effect that can be more significant than any of the active ingredients can make on their own.
What are the benefits of hemp seed oil?
As well as containing the finest quality Dutch ingredients, grown in the Netherlands without pesticides, artificial fertilisers or harmful chemicals, Green CBD Oil is suspended in a base of hemp seed oil which has its own range of nutritional benefits.
A rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, hemp seed oil, comes from the seeds of the plant. A highly nutritious oil, it’s believed to be particularly beneficial for skin health, and its high concentration of alpha-linolenic acid is thought to help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

"Start low and slowly grow" is the key to starting your CBD journey. This will allow you to slowly build up your endocannabinoid system and fully realise your sweet spot. Your endocannabinoid system works on a bell curve and if you take too much at once then you can go over the curve and overload which could result in having the opposite effect of what you're hoping to achieve.
This is a rough guide only as each of us is different and unique. A slow approach may be more beneficial to you and increase fortnightly instead. The time frames below are examples, but a good guide to how dosing is recommended.
||1 drop three times a day|
|Week 2||2 drops three times a day|
|Week 3||3 drops three times a day|
|Week 4||4 drops three times a day|
5 drops three times a day
Once you have found a suitable level, you should maintain and not increase your intake levels.

Which CBD strength should I buy?
Everyone is unique, and as such, the answer is that it depends on you. Optimal dosages and strengths vary from person to person based on many factors, including body weight, height, and tolerance.

If you're not feeling the desired benefit after building up, you should move up to the next strength product.
It is important to remember that when you first start taking CBD, it is about finding the right balance and enabling your body to get used to taking CBD. Therefore it may take a little time to find the right strength and dosage for you.
